It comes down to the complexity of the look and the level of guidance you need:

• Essential Haircut: Best for classic shapes like bobs, long layers, or maintenance trims. This includes a consultation, wash, and signature blowout.
• Specialty Haircut: Designed for high-detail transformations like shags, mullets, or wolf cuts. Because these technical shapes require specific carving techniques, this service includes an extended consultation and a personalized styling lesson so you can confidently recreate your look at home.

I operate as a no-tip-required studio. My goal is to provide a seamless, transparent experience where you know exactly what to expect. While the checkout screen on my booking system does include a tip prompt by default, please feel no obligation to use it. Your loyalty and your referrals are how I measure my success!

Hare & Hone is a private, residential studio. To maintain a peaceful escape, the exact address and parking instructions are sent via text two days before your service.

Because of the limited space in the salon, I ask you not to arrive early. If you do, please wait in your car until your appointment time. You are welcome to send a quick text letting me know you’ve arrived, but if I am mid-service, I may not be able to respond immediately. If I am ready to start early, I will text you to come on in! 🙂

I kindly ask for at least 48 hours’ notice if you need to reschedule or cancel your visit. I don’t believe in charging cancellation or no-show fees because life happens, and I value transparency over penalties. However, because late changes significantly impact a small studio, clients who no-show or cancel within the 48-hour window more than once will be required to pre-pay for all future services at the time of booking.

If you are running more than 15 minutes late, please reach out as soon as possible. To ensure I can give the next guest my full attention, we may need to adjust your service (such as skipping the blow-dry) or reschedule for a later date.

If you are feeling unwell or have been exposed to illness, please reach out to reschedule. I want you to be able to fully relax and enjoy your service! I promise to extend the same courtesy to you if I am under the weather. We will work together to find the earliest possible opening to get you rescheduled once everyone is healthy.

To ensure my privacy and safety, the studio address is kept confidential until your appointment is confirmed. You will receive a confirmation text 2 days prior to your visit containing the address and specific parking instructions. Please follow these parking instructions exactly, as there is no on-street parking available at the studio.

Hare & Hone is an intimate, one-on-one studio with limited seating. To maintain a safe and relaxing environment for your styling lesson, I prefer that you come to your appointment alone. I understand that life happens, but a solo visit is always appreciated to ensure you get my undivided attention!

To ensure we have enough time to reach your hair goals, I reserve the right to adjust your appointment type if the service booked doesn’t match the desired end result. Price changes may occur. However, I will always communicate any changes to the service and price before we begin any work.
